Tutastic Payment and Cancellation Polices
At Tutastic, we value our time spent teaching and our student’s time spent learning. In order to facilitate payment and scheduling of lessons, we use the following policy:
Payment

Students are required to pay for their lessons via a bank transfer using the Tutastic bank details provided or through a Paypal account.

If payment has not been received 24 hours before the lesson and an explanation has not been received, the lesson is not guaranteed.

If payment has not been received 2 hours before the lesson, without an explanation, it will be considered cancelled.
Cancellations

Any student is free to cancel any session by communicating their wish via text message or phone call. Depending on the circumstances, students may or may not receive a full refund.

Cancellations and postponements are welcome without penalty given at least 24 hours of notice. Inside of 24 hours, students are welcome to cancel or postpone their lessons, but a full refund will not be given. A 50% refund will be given within 12 hours’ notice, but inside 12 hours, no refund will be given.

To accommodate for unforeseen circumstances such as illness, cancellations inside the 24 hour period will be accepted on two separate occasions in one school term (approx. 12 weeks) and a full refund will be given.

The tutoring agreement will be terminated if a student misses or cancels three consecutive weeks of lessons.

If a total of 4 weeks are missed or cancelled in one term (approx. 12 weeks) the agreement will be terminated.

If the tutor cancels the session for any reason, a full refund will be given.
