One to One Lessons

A one to one tutor will identify where your child has gaps in their knowledge and will plan bespoke lessons to cater to their needs. At Tutastic, we deliver online lessons for almost all primary subjects including English, phonics, mathematics, science, history and geography. We teach children from the early years and foundation stage (EYFS), up to year 6.
How are lessons delivered?
Lessons are delivered online, through the Zoom platform. After an informal assessment, the tutor will set achievable goals for your child to work towards and monitor their progress regularly. Tutastic can best meet your child's learning needs if they are aware of their prior knowledge and learning style best suited to them. When planning lessons, your tutor will aim to provide children with rewarding learning experiences, that are well planned and delivered in an actively engaging way.
How long is each lesson?
One to one lessons are 1 hour or 45 minutes long. You will need to consider your child's ability to focus for long periods of time and what would work best for them.
Very young children often find it difficult to concentrate for long periods of time, therefore two 30 minute lessons are advised.
